Kings Estates returns as main sponsor of the Claremont Primary School Summer Fete 2026

Save the date: Saturday 4 July 2026, 12–3pm, free entry. For the second year running we're the main sponsor of the Claremont Primary School Summer Fete — bouncy castles, arena shows, face painting and all. Here's what's on, and why it matters to us.

Mark the calendar, dig out the sun cream and save up your loose change: on Saturday 4 July 2026, the Claremont Primary School field becomes the best place in Tunbridge Wells to spend an afternoon — and for the second year running, Kings Estates is the proud main sponsor. Gates open at noon, it runs until 3pm, entry is free, and everyone is welcome.

We’re a Tunbridge Wells agency through and through — our office is by the station, our team works in the heart of town, and the families we help buy, sell and let are our neighbours. So sponsoring the Claremont fete isn’t a line on a marketing plan; it’s one of the genuine highlights of our year. That it happens to be enormous fun is entirely the point.

What’s on (rather a lot, as it turns out)

Here’s the thing about the Claremont fete: there is a genuinely ridiculous amount to do, and the PTA somehow makes it look effortless. Pace yourself — on the day you can look forward to:

  • Bouncy castles— the unofficial centre of gravity for anyone under ten.
  • Arena shows to gather round between turns on the stalls.
  • Face painting— arrive as yourself, leave as a tiger, a butterfly, or something only a five-year-old could fully explain.
  • Make-your-own tote bag— a keepsake that actually gets used.
  • A tuck shop and hot food stalls— plus a cold drink in the sun and something sweet to round it off.
  • Games, stalls and a silent auction— where, if you’re quick, you might just walk off with one of our Kings Estates hampers.

Why we put our name to it

Plenty of agencies these days run from a laptop and a call centre. We’d rather be the team you actually bump into — at a valuation, in the queue at the deli, or behind a stall at the school fete. A good local agent should be exactly that: local, visible, and genuinely part of the place. Showing up for the schools, clubs and causes that make Tunbridge Wells such a good place to raise a family is, to us, simply part of the job.

And it’s a brilliant cause. Behind all the bunting, the fete is one of the most important fundraisers in the school’s year — every go on the bouncy castle, every cake and every silent-auction bid adds up, and thanks to the PTA and a small army of volunteers, it all goes straight back into the children’s education.

So whether you’re a Claremont family, a near neighbour, or simply someone who knows a good summer afternoon when they see one, come along. Bring the children, bring a bit of change for the stalls, and come and find the Kings Estates team — we’ll be the ones enjoying it as much as anyone.

Frequently asked

Quick answers.

  • When and where is the Claremont Primary School Summer Fete 2026?

It's on Saturday 4 July 2026, from 12pm to 3pm, on the school field at Claremont Primary School, Banner Farm Road, Tunbridge Wells (TN2 5EB), organised by the Claremont Primary PTA. It's a relaxed family afternoon and everyone is welcome — families, neighbours and the wider community.

  • Is the summer fete free to attend?

Yes — entry is free. Many of the activities run on a small fee or token basis, so it's worth bringing a bit of change (or a card), and everything raised goes back to the school via the PTA. Bring the family and make an afternoon of it.

  • What's on at the fete?

Expect bouncy castles, arena shows, face painting, a make-your-own tote bag stall, games and stalls across the field, a tuck shop and hot food, drinks, and a silent auction — including one of our Kings Estates hampers. It's a proper community afternoon out.

  • How does Kings Estates' sponsorship help the school?

As main sponsor, our support helps the PTA cover the cost of putting on the fete — so more of what's raised on the day goes straight to the school, towards equipment, experiences and the extras that make a real difference to the children. It's a small way of giving back to a community that gives us so much.
