Michelle joined the team in 2019 and her position is Sales Negotiator. Her role includes scheduling and conducting viewings, opening offers with clients and overseeing their progress in conjunction with his Directors until an offer has been accepted. Michelle moved to Tunbridge Wells when she left University and shehas lived in the town for the last 25 years, so knows the area very well with her children having attended school locally.  

Michelle previously enjoyed a career as an Independent Financial Advisor for high net worth clients, but she took a career break to bring up her two children and then went on to run her own social media business. Keen to again work in a role that allows her to meet and assist people in making important life changing decisions Michelle was pleased to become part of the Kings Estates team andhaving worked closely with us for the last three years as our social media consultant Michelle has fitted extremely well into the team. Michelle’s hobbies include walking her cockapoo Gertie, personal training in the park when all her limbs are working properly and enjoying the odd city break or two each year.

The housing market can continue during lockdown in England

Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, on 4 January, announced England will move to a new national lockdown that requires, under UK Coronavirus Alert Level 5, people must stay at home, except for limited exceptions.

House moves are a limited exception and, therefore, are still be permitted to go ahead. Guidance issued by the UK Government states people can still move home, however, people outside a household or support bubble should not help with moving, unless absolutely necessary.

Estate and letting agents and removal firms can continue to work with property viewings still also allowed if anyone is looking to move.

It has been stressed the importance of following the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing, letting fresh air in, and wearing a face covering.

Housing market activity returned on 12 May 2020 in England and has continued ever since due to the Government's belief in the importance of the sector and confidence that agents are operating safely.
